Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Aluminum Portable Slim External CD Burner / External DVD Burner DVDRW (Electronics)
ok... so i bought this and had my cousin bring it down to me. That was about 4-5 days ago. i still haven't been able to get it to work. i'm using the Acer Aspire One 10.1, and it just doesn't power the drive. i tried it on the desktop, it came on, i got a steady power light, but pressing the button produced no response. so i got a hairpin and manually opened the drive. it opened but would do nothing with the disc put in it. the desktop DID say that the drivers were installed successfully, but yet still nothing seems to be happening with it. i couldn't even locate it in My Computer. i really don't know what vto think of it. i wonder if i'm doing something wrong, or if it just doesn't work. if anybody has had this and got it to work, please share some light to poor souls like myself. right now the only other thing i can think of to do with it is drop it in the bin
