For the price you definitely can't complain about this product too much. I will say when you get it, the material it's made out of looks cheap but it seems to stand up fine. I've been pressing down on it to make sure it was stable and it seems as though it is! It's not that tall but if you're just doing shots where you're sitting down it should be fine. The reason I bought this was for traveling and my huge one was definitely not coming with me. In saying that, this will do! I hope this helps you guys out!

P.S.- Also for a quicker set up I recommend letting the legs all the way out and then adjusting the neck bit the camera goes on.

The reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because for the price, you get tons of awesome features! Each of the legs on the tripod have a 4 level adjustment! The actual part where the camera connects has 3 adjustments and can be raised! Get this product if you need something cheap and quick!

Lets start off with the price is AMAZING litterally , it was fast go get to me. I opened it this morning and at first I was like ? It's so small ! but my dum but didn't see the black clips and I was like hmm? what is this for ? and it got tall it's up to above my hip and im 5'7. I thought it wasn't going to be able to hold my camera but it did :D I think my camera is 3/4 Pounds. Canon t3i . It came with a bag for the tripod and also it came with a yellow napkin to clean my camera (BONUS!)

This light duty low cost tripod fits my needs exactly. The legs adjust easily and so does the head with bubble level. Just don't expect to mount a heavy camera on it. I mounted a small webcam on it to take ronchigrams of my telescope mirror during optical testing.

First off, understand that you're getting exactly what you're paying for - a relatively cheap tripod. It is extremely light, so take that into consideration if you plan to use it with heavier equipment. It folds up to be about a foot tall and can easily be fit into a backpack or on the outside of a camera bag. When the legs are fully extended, the tripod can seem a little flimsy, especially if you have a full load of camera equipment attached to it. If you're using it to shoot a time lapse or for something where the camera needs to remain completely still, I would recommend hanging something a little heavier from the center of the tripod to weigh it down and hold it still. The platform has a bubble level, as well as a handle to rotate the camera. This is a very minimalist, bare-bones tripod that still functions well enough to help get the job done.

For the price, this tripod is great. It's extremely light, very portable, and easy to use. However, if you're looking for a professional-grade tripod, you might want to shop around before deciding. This guy is great for everyday use, especially if you're moving around a lot. I primarily use it to shoot skateboarding, so it does exactly what I need it to - be functional, lightweight, portable, and easy to use.

This product is very lightweight as mentioned in other reviews. What it lacks in weight (light weight is not necessarily a bad thing) it makes up for in an outstanding price and the options available on the unit. Anyone that has any complaint about this tripod is out of their mind. It is incredibly affordable and you get far more than what you pay for.

We were debating between this tripod and another that was about 10 times more expensive. The final decision is what anyone that is debating getting this should decide. "For this price, you cannot go wrong. If it isn't what you hope it is, you really aren't out much".

Given that this product is very lightweight, it isn't incredibly "heavy duty" I wouldn't expect that anyone would take this on safari and expect great results. But for someone that is just getting started with photography and doesn't want to spend a ton of money getting started...this is hands down the way to go.

At first glance it would appear the product is cheaply built and would not hold up. I took the time to examine the tripod closely extending it to full extent. My plan for this item is beyond use to hold a camera to take pictures. I like the small profile of the legs when fully extended. Since I intend to use the tripod for my grandson, as a support for a hunting rifle from a ground blind the small profile is great. Further the tripod appears to be sturdy in spite of it's small diameter and compact design. I am considering purchase of a second tripod for myself since it is so light and easy to transport in the field. Other uses I can imagine for this tripod are to hold a spotting scope during zero of my rifles and of course as it was designed to hold my camera when taking important pictures of my grandchildren. This was a great buy and I am pleased to own it.

50" isn't as much as you think it is! But I'm not taking a star away for that. The frame of this is made of of some cheap metal (might be aluminum, but very thin) which makes it very easy to bend it if you are moving it around. My recommendation for anyone moving it is to make sure that all the legs are inside of it.

The turning and tilt of this stand is fairly smooth (for $10), however the tilting of it up and down is horrible to be honest. There are little tick marks preset in the tilting up and down in this tripod, this gives you very little room for fine adjustments. Overall it is a very nice tripod for $10 and it works great for the size of it. This really comes does to personal preference and what your needs are.
