Product Description

Used in this video tutorial:. Product Spotlight: Beading Scoops and Trays. . Pick up, sort, and pour beads--we all use these in our warehouse, they are SO handy! The triangle shape and angled edges allow you use these as clever little bead scoops to chase down errant beads. Sort your beads into different trays while you're working. Bright aluminum lets you see your beads clearly. When you're ready to put your beads away, pour them directly from any corner into small bags, tubes, or compartments. So lightweight we use them as tray on bead weighing scales. These trays nest, so they are easy to pack along for beading on the go. Made in India Measurements: Sides are 3 1/4 inches long, edges are 1/4 inch high. Quantity: 6 Trays

This would be WONDERFUL for seed beaders, as they are EXTREMELY shallow. I use beads much larger than these will hold. They are STURDY, solid little trays, and I'm sure they will be useful for my crimp ends 5000 Crimp Beads - 2mm Shiny Silver Plated Lead Free Alloy Beads , ear wires, and other truly tiny (under 6mm) items. Not sure how well these would work for 'scooping," as they are so shallow, items would tend to roll right off them. Possibly if they were lightly magnetized ... NOTE: They seem as if they would slide around your work surface with such a smooth underside, so I would suggest either use a bead mat Bead Mats 11" X 14" (Set of 3) or rug pad Ultra Stop Non-Slip Indoor Rug Pad, Size: 5' x 8' Rug Pad , or something to keep them stable while working.

These are just as pictured and as expected. Delivery was quick. I really like having these around and for travel.
My favorite is still my grandma's tea bag/spoon dish for pouring my beads into. The weight of the bone china prevents me from knocking my beads over as easily. And it gives me something to look for at the antique shop. I love those little dishes.
But, these are so nice to use for pouring smallbeads into bags or jars and so inexpensive and easy to cart around for classes or travel projects. Great to keep in your project bag.

I have been beading for years, yet only recently starting using these triangle trays. I never thought I needed them because I used little plastic DIxie sized cups to gather beads, and various other trays and funnel to manage my bead piles. BUT, when I started to use these triangle trays, I realized that they are specifically designed for this work, and they do an AMAZING job! Now, I keep kicking myself as to why I did not buy these sooner. They are the perfect companion for any beader who tends to have piles of beads on their mat. They can quickly help separate and organize piles, and scoop up beads in an instant. I love these trays and cannot live without them now.

Hmm, although the label says quantity of six, that sticker is over one that says sold by the dozen, so either I lucked out because I got a dozen, or their description is off. Anyway, these have made my seed bead projects much better, i wish they were a bit bigger so I could fit the needle in all the way, but they are keeping me organized and i'm very happy with them.

Everyone who works with small beads and tiny seed beads will find these trays to be helpful in gathering up beads, pouring beads into containers, sorting beads, etc. Their straight edges help scoop up the beads, while the points allow for easy pouring. Almost every beader I know has at least 1, if not 3 or 4 or more of these little trays. They are a nice size that fits comfortably in the hand.

I use these to hold beads, sequins, and pins when I'm assembling beaded ornaments. They work very well. I sit them on a bead mat & tray, pour a few to work with on the mat, and use them to scoop up leftovers when I'm done. I squirt craft glue into another to dip my pins in before inserting into the sytrofoam. The glue dries and it peels right off. Perfect! Just what I was looking for.

Nice little trays. Had a gem gluing project and heard a lot of good things about using trays to keep the gems contained and face up. They aren't advertised to flip gems but giving the tray a few shakes sideways does the trick nicely. The bigger the stone, the more you need to shake it - or just nudge it with your fingernail. There were enough trays to cover my project and they were a nice small size to fit on my work surface. One even held some of my glue and cleaned up beautifully when I was done. Worth the cost.

I think this is one of the best items for beading that they make. I use mine for sorting beads, holding beads separated from others for beading and the best of all scooping the beads up off the beading surface when I am done beading, then they pour right out into your bead container. These are just so handy, I can't say enough about them. I have 18 of them myself and often give these as gifts for beading friends. These are not to be confused with plastic or any other type of tray that doesn't have the nice thin edge to pick up the beads off the table.
