5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
I purchased this for my wife's b-day. It was very easy to set up. Has wonderful picture quality. It was shipped very fast and item was exactly as described. You'd be foolish to pay more for anything else. Would definitely recommend!

Average product. Transferring pictures is not easy. Menu options are also difficult. Biggest problem is aspect ratio. Be default, pictures are not fitting in the frame and they are appearing too small. By zooming, they appear stretched. This is because of the aspect ratio of the frame. Average product. Transferring pictures is not easy. Menu options are also difficult. Biggest problem is aspect ratio. Be default, pictures are not fitting in the frame and they are appearing too small. By zooming, they appear stretched. This is because of the aspect ratio of the frame. All the pictures will have to be adjusted according to the aspect ratio of the frame which is a pain. I also bought HP DF1010B3 which is slightly more expensive but phenomenal. It is much better in looks and it started playing slideshow the moment SD card was inserted. All the pictures are coming perfectly. I wish I could return this frame but I cannot as I have bought it as a gift and I am leaving the country next week.

5.0 out of 5 stars Family photos, November 27, 2010
This review is from: Aluratek 10.2-Inch Digital Photo Frame with 512MB Built in Memory (Electronics)
After researching digital picture frames for quite some time, I found this product to be priced right and I've been very happy with my purchase. This is a great and easy to use digital photo frame for those of us who aren't "electronic savvy" and the crisp, clean picture quality makes it an even better purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Easy to use. GREAT GIFT, November 2, 2010

I purchased this photo frame for my wife to display pictures of the kids from our recent vacation. She absolutely loves it. In fact, she wants another one for Christmas. It was very easy for her to set up. She was able to load all of the pictures without any problem. It is pretty straight forward and not difficult at all. I would recommend this for someone who wants a good size, nice looking digital frame.

1.0 out of 5 stars Great when it works Beware green screen of death!, February 19, 2011
This review is from: Aluratek 10.2-Inch Digital Photo Frame with 512MB Built in Memory (Electronics)
I really liked this frame. It looks nice, displays pictures well, plays music and video. However it gets the green screen lockup after only a couple hours. You must then unplug it and replug it, then it does it again. The company had a promotion giving a 4gb SD card with it. I thought well if it wont lock up when using the SD card, that would be fine with me. Bought a new frame to test this theory, put pictures on the SD card and I STILL GOT THE GREEN SCREEN! My advice Stay away from this photo frame. It just isn't worth the trouble. Too bad cause it was a good price. Well now I know why.

I have the frame and still no photos on it because the directions on how to use it are as clear as mud.

I bought this as a gift for my sister-in-law and down loaded old pictures she had of her relatives that I had scanned onto my computer.

The instructions are very difficult to understand and the buttons are all figures and not words..which made it very difficult to use.

It took me a very long time to figure out how to delete pictures from the device.

The one good thing about this product was the remote..it made it easier to use instead of having to reach onto the back of the device to change pictures, increase the volume, etc...

I would not recommend this product simply due to the fact that it was very confusing and time consuming.

2.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to use., March 24, 2011
This review is from: Aluratek 10.2-Inch Digital Photo Frame with 512MB Built in Memory (Electronics)
I really liked the look of this frame and it shows the pictures nicely. However, it is the hardest frame I have ever tried to use. It took hours and much frustration to finally get the pictures loaded. Forget all about trying to use any of the other features! The instruction manual is a joke. If you are much more tech savvy than I am it's probably a great item, but if you are a novice then I truly do not recommend this particular frame. Sorry.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality for price, January 3, 2011

I bought this for my mother-in and husbands great aunt, neither will touch a computer. I looked at hundreds of frames before my purchase, wanted quality at a nice price. The screen size was perfect for the only grandkid photos - quality was great! Took minutes to set up with photos/videos and easy to add more from camera, jump drive, sd card. Giving instructions on how to use it was simple too and both recepients plugged it in and used them when they got home X-Mas Day. ONE MAJOR downside to this frame - I ordered 2, 1 worked seamlessly while the other was much slower when responding to menu buttons on frame and remote, for example, push the right arrow button to advance on the screen on frame 1 - worked fine, do the same with frame 2, it would take several minutes and button pushes before advancing. Workmanship flaw...
