4.0 out of 5 stars 97 projects, 611 B&W illustrations, like by Gustavo Gili in English, January 21, 2012
The same as ISBN: 8425213983 published by Gustavo Gili (GG) in 1994 on 261 pages in the Works and Projects series in English and Spanish side by side. It is an exclusively black & white, concise and copiously illustrated paperback survey of 97 major works. A short introductory part on several pages is followed by the main review part presenting each shortly described project in excellent B&W photos, plans, sections, elevations, hard line presentation drawings, models, sketches, etc. The book is ended with a biography, writings, list of works, etc. on several pages. Most of 611 only B&W illustrations are technical, but all (incl. B&W photos) are of a good quality, well balanced, crisp and legible. Like all from the Studio Paperback series, it - published in German under ISBN-10: 3764355530 and 3764361395 (Basel)/08176* (Boston) by Birkhäuser Verlag, and under ISBN-10: 3760881041 (Zürich)/18740* (London) by Artemis Verlag - is solid among architectural monographs, but slightly larger in size than that by Gustavo Gili.
