Okay, I received my guitar without a case as well. I called Amazon and the guy I spoke with was great. He apologized and said yes, it is a listing error but he made it right by offering a bit of a discount on the already low price which I thought was extremely fair. I've ordered a hard case now and although I had to pay some out of my own pocket, I know I'm getting a decent case as well. It's all good in the end and the guitar is well worth the price paid!

I, too, received no hard case with my order. The first guitar came with a cracked neck. The second one arrived with a big gouge in the wood on the front. Very disappointed. This was for my son for Christmas and I was very excited to have been able to buy him a nice guitar within budget. Customer service will only issue a refund now.

Received my guitar today & it was also missing the hard case. Called Amazon and they were great. 5 stars for the customer service. They gave me a partial refund on the already low price. Guitar is beautiful

The guitar itself is fine and a good deal for the money paid. Amazon support is always great. For them to cross ship an item when there is a problem is fantastic! I will continue to custom Amazon for their great deals and support. I am looking for a Blu-Ray player now...

I emailed Amazon support and they would not send the case alone; said it would break up the set... Um, its already broken up! They said they would re-send the order which is fine but I have a funny feeling I am going to end up with two guitars and still no case. We shall see.

Same as the first two reviews, the guitar arrived with no case.
... Amazon.com correct the problem. So I am giving the guitar the revised review:

Construction: Seems solid. The front below the bridge is a bid wavy but aceptable.
Finish: Beautiful.
Sounds: Passable for size. Could be improved with higher tension strings.
Neck: Is a bit small, very nice for small hand but would surely be a problem for large hand.
Pickup and tuner: Work fine.
Tuning machine: Does not seem very solid but work fine for now.

Just like the review already placed, I bought this guitar with hard case on a lightening deal and it was delivered without a hard case? In fact, it has no case at all! I did call customer service and they first said they would send another but when I pointed out that the reviews that had been written on the product all mirrored my problem, he suggested that he refund a portion of the cost as it most likely was a listing error. All in all, very satisfied with Amazon's approach to resolving the problem. Still a good deal on what looks like a very nice guitar.

I ordered Alvarez RC460C Regent Series Classical Acoustic-Electric Guitar with Hard Case on a Lightning Deal on Tuesday Dec 8. The guitar arrived Thursday Dec 10. There was no hard case, the guitar alone just arrived in a regular cardboard box that was in another regular cardboard box. Hard cases are available for between $49 and $79. The guitar is shiny and well made, so I do not want to return it and pay a much higher price for one with a case, nor should I have to pay for a hard case separately since the item clearly said a hard case was to be included in the shipment. Amazon should provide one to me.

I very much like the guitar, with its three nylon strings, three wound steel strings and electric pickup.

Mine came without a case as well, but Amazon won't offer a reasonable partial refund for the case or anything else. Only option was to return it even though it was their error. Pathetic. Very disappointed in Amazon.com on this one.
