If you have anyone in the single digit age range, buy this CD. My 5yo neice is going for the record books listening to it. Actually, I bought the first CD because I am a BiG supporter of Charice, who had a small part in the movie and sings "No One" . . . she has a ton of talent packed into a 94lb body.

So, my neice quickly claimed it. Now, I have bought 4 more albums and an considered a hero in my family. A dozen of the songs are great. So, maybe as a whole it is not as wonderful as the Chipmunks earlier soundtrack, but it is close and it truly passes the "kid" test.

I picked this album up for my 4 year old daughter and she loves it. She really likes Alvin and the Chipmunks and was really excited when I told her I bought this for her. We have listened to it several times, and she sings along to most of the songs. I think it's a nice mix of older and newer songs. For kids who like the Chipmunks, this is a great item to pick up/download.
