I bought this for a 14 year old for Xmas. She opened it and loved it. I had found an article in a magazine on glass etching and it had this product as the tool they used for the crafts.I had included all the necessary items to do the craft projects so she could immediately begin having fun. That is exactly what happened, she had fun, she engraved or etched all kinds of designs and letters. I was very please with how well it worked and how much detail she could put into her projects because of the ease inwhich the engraving tool worked. I was very pleased with my purchase

I loved the inscriblio!! My family has gotten so huge, and we have decided to do "secret santas," but I still wanted to do a little something for everyone, so I bought the inscriblio, and bought enough wine glasses and beer mugs for my friends and family ($1 each at dollar tree!) and engraved names and easy pictures into each one... The inscriblio lasted through all 32 glasses and mugs!!! LOVED IT!.. your hand gets tired after using it for a while though!!!

Received one, carefully inserted the four AAA batteries it needs, and it buzzed for about 5 seconds before overheating, dead. Returned that one as defective and got another one. The second one died almost immediately too, when the on/off switch apparently failed. My advice is to get a better quality, more reliable engraving tool. If you still want to try this cheap piece of junk, I'd recommend ordering it from someplace where you don't pay return shipping (like Walmart).
