Would have liked a better description as to how many books were in the set. Only three books were in the set even though there are more in the series. There was no paperwork with the order confirming there was only three books. I love Orson Scott Card and own twelve other books by him.

The central character is a delight. I guess Orson Scott Card has drawn upon many influences to write the series. Old European myths & legends, 'Wayland Smith', Native American. He has combined these to produce an enthralling tale that leaves the reader eager for more.
