"I Gave It A Chance"
This is the third novel of Ms. Winters' that I've read and as always, the characters were somewhat interesting and the chapters are too long. In almost every chapter, Lily was crying...somebody give her some Kleenex please!! Garrick/Michael should've gotten fired..would an FBI agent really do the things he did for the love of a woman? Oh I forgot, this is fantasy. Brody...

This is the third novel of Ms. Winters' that I've read and as always, the characters were somewhat interesting and the chapters are too long. In almost every chapter, Lily was crying...somebody give her some Kleenex please!! Garrick/Michael should've gotten fired..would an FBI agent really do the things he did for the love of a woman? Oh I forgot, this is fantasy. Brody is the typical villian, and Ward is a bore. Jamarr and Carolyn were my favorites. Jamarr's possessive need to bring Ward to justice, and Carolyn always stepping in when Jamarr and Garrick/Michael are about to come to blows. This was an o.k novel.
