As she confronts and uncovers one of the most insidious and damaging of addictions, Corinne must survive the insanity of her world, or lose herself entirely. With support from friends and her baby-seal killing mother (not really, but she is very peevish), she gains the kind of strength that ultimately leads her to saving the only person she can truly save: herself.

Always Listen to the Ravings of a Mad Woman is both flawed and compelling; belly-laughing funny and gut-wrenching emotional. I couldn't put it down. You have to read it.

Whether you drink coffee or Postum, this book is a must read! Julieann dives deep into the emotional struggles of religion, marriage and self esteem. The characters are so real and their individual struggles are not only heart breaking, they are very much a reality in the land of Zion. Always Listen to the Ravings of a Mad Woman is a very honest book that was written with much love and compassion about subjects that are often too difficult to face. What a relief that finally, someone has given us the "ok" to be who we are and find happiness within ourselves. A wonderful book!
