5.0 out of 5 stars Great little CD!
I originally picked this CD up in a Hallmark store because Sara Evans is one my favorites and it certainly didn't disappoint. For those who are fans, there are a few songs on here not released on her other albums and they are definitely worth listening to, so pick up this CD!

3.0 out of 5 stars An good introduction to Sara's music
While this a good introductary album to Sara Evans' music, there are other Sara songs that should have been on this Mother's day album, such as You'll always be my baby, and I could not ask for more.

3.0 out of 5 stars An good introduction to Sara's music, July 25, 2006

While this a good introductary album to Sara Evans' music, there are other Sara songs that should have been on this Mother's day album, such as You'll always be my baby, and I could not ask for more.

Anyway, the two new songs, recorded for this album, are both wonderful songs - One reflects on motherhood and the other on the love between two people with funny names. Born to Fly and Suds in the bucket - Two Sara hits, are great songs. Songs such as "Even Now", and "Cryin' game" don't feel as though they should be on the album or fit in with the theme - Motherhood. To Be happy is a strong track, relfecting on being happy in this rat-race world.

All in all, this a great album if you want to learn more about Sara's music. However, it is not really a strong Mother's Day album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cozy, and delightful read! Love these characters!, May 25, 2006
This review is from: Always There (Audio CD)
Daisy and June are two English sisters who were separated and put in an orphanage due to a family tragedy. June was adopted and Daisy grew up in the orphanage. They lost touch with other and this story brings them back together. As the story opens, Daisy is a very poor unmarried mother of two delightful daughters I and still involved with their no good father. June is very happily married except for a hateful mother in law. Her husband very much wants children but none have arrived in their seven-year marriage. June suspects it is due to a secret she has never revealed to her husband. She leaves him with no explanation to give him the chance to remarry and have children even though she desperately loves him. The sisters finally meet and begin to piece together their family history. These are characters you grow to love. The entire cast of characters are people you would really like to know personally. This book could easily have a sequel because at the end they are involved in a charming hotel in the picturesque English countryside. I very enjoyed listening to Juanita McMahon whose voice was just right for this book. I will be hunting up more reads by Pamela Evans!
