5.0 out of 5 stars funny but very helpful!
This book is awsome! it takes what us kids call"the list". If you are any kid who has parents then you'll know what i'm talkin about. they always tell you, always wear clean undewear, take out the garbage, and keep your feet off the couch, the stuff kids hate to do. but really parents have a reasonable explanation for all these things. In this book it tells you the big...

1.0 out of 5 stars Unhappy product did not come
I ordered my item that I was very excited to receive and to my dissappointment I did not receive the item. I emailed the seller and was not sure why I did not receive it. It sucks that you look forward to buying a good item and then don't even receive it. I would love to try and purchase another one but not sure what the outcome would be.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book, September 27, 2001
This review is from: "Always Wear Clean Underwear!": And Other Ways Parents Say "I Love You" (Paperback)
This is a wonderful book about core values, written in a humourous, yet serious, style. My two sons, ages 14 and 17, even enjoyed it.

Always Wear Clean Underwear by Marc Gellman is a very funny book (don't get me wrong, it also teaches you very important lessons!) In this book it not only teaches you about wearing clean underwear it teaches you thing that kids don't under stand about PARENTS such as.... "eat your vegetables" "don't talk with your mouth full" Things like that! I just read this book for the first time and when I read it i fell in love with it. 5.0 out of 5 stars Must Read at Any Age, August 21, 2001
By A Customer
This is a must read book from ages 10 on up. Gives good advice for young people to think about as they grow up. It also reinforces to adults what they were taught growing up. Life is full of challenges, no matter what your age. This book reminds us about the golden rule, treating people well, doing the right thing etc. It does it in a lighthearted way, not a finger shaking do this approach. It will make you laugh and cry.

5.0 out of 5 stars "I wonder what else this guy wrote?" Lea, June 14, 2000

I have a 9 year old who has always had to be forced to read. Her 4th grade teacher requires 20 min. per night reading, signed by me. She loved this book. It was almost all readable by her grade level. She felt competent and interested. She had other girls over for sleep overs and read the book to them. This is the greatest book that any of my seven kids has ever read. It has provoked many conversations with her and stopped the "It's not fair." It has changed our family. What more can you ask from a book!

5.0 out of 5 stars A+ Lessons!, May 23, 2000
I am a 3rd grade teacher and I always read this book to my students. They love it and I believe it teaches them a lot. They have to realize the "BIG MEANINGS" behind all of the items on the List! I am now buying the book for my mom to let her know that I now (as an adult) know why she followed the List while I was growing up:)

Wow! What a fabulous book. My daughter is only six, but we have been enjoying reading it together. She loves the tone; it's friendly and funny enough to be interesting, yet serious enough to be instructive. It has sparked some interesting conversations about love, respect, and responsibility. We will read it many more times before she reaches adolescence! (I think I'm learning a thing or two, too.) I highly recommend it to all parents.
