these guys are great!!! the vocals, guitar, and songwriting is outstanding.perfect rockabilly, car sounds album.

Good rockabilly tunes that will satisfy your craving for stand-up bass and greased up pompadours --- but in all reality, most music in this genre sounds almost the same. However, the Chop Tops have the distinction of being a bit more mainstream, playing at Warped Tours, Viva Las Vegas and being sponsored by Murrays. Definitely a band to listen to for cultural value and influence alone. This album is decent, one of their first. Check out the newer stuff as well, especially Triple Deuces. More polished and professional.
