Iam somewhat confuse by the lack of reviews on this masterpiece,this is his best album post Quincy Jones.Absolutely smooth mellow R&B music for mature sophisticated adults like me.Please go back and dust this one off and listen to "let me love you this way" and tell me how you feel.

"Let Me Love You This Way" is quite simply one of the most beautiful and touching ballads ever recorded. Based on the beauty, strength and elegance of most of this CD's songs ("Always You", "Any Kind Of Love", "Let Me Love You This Way", "A Baby's Born") this album deserved to have done much better. It's just as incredible and mind-boggling that a singer as powerful and soulful as James Ingram never became the superstar he should have been.

This is my favourite soul albums of all time. I practically grew up on it with my uncle constantly playing it on tape in the car. Amazing vocals from James (as always) backed with great quality production with REAL instruments and at times an Orchestra.
The feel throughout is of richness and pure class. Not a single track you need to skip, one of those very rare cds that you can listen from start to finish.
In my opinion the most underated soul albums of all time. I doubt there will ever be another album in this genre made of this high standard.
I personally have 3 copies just in case 1 ever breaks!

One of the best cd's ever...James Ingram, still one of the greatest singers of our time!

Could not get enough of this cd, great production . If you are a true fan this is the CD to purchase!
