We bought this cd for our toddler son. He is absolutley fascinated with it! He will sit and attentively listen to the entire cd. His favorite song is "Rusty the Rocking Horse," followed closely by "Johnny Appleseed". The melodies are catchy, the lyrics are entertaining, and Gene Autry's voice is pleasant and almost calming. We believe that both boys and girls will love listening to this album again and again, and parents will enjoy being taken back in time to a simpler way of life.

We originally bought this CD for our 2.5 year old toddler & found we loved it so much, we were fighting over who gets to listen to it in their car that day!!! All our friends who listen to this CD question us about it & want one for themselves - forget the kids! This CD is AWESOME listening for the whole family! Gene Autry's voice singing these old & funny songs is just wonderful! Gives you butterflies in your tummy!

My 7 year-old niece fell in love with this CD last year, and now my 2&1/2 year-old daughter can't get enough of it, also! The songs are fun and the arrangements are easy for kids to follow and sing along with. I also like that my daughter is learning some classic American tunes like "Clementine", "On Top of Old Smoky" and her favourite, "Smoky the Bear". This CD is also great to play at cowboy-theme parties.

Gene Autry was a great musician and these are charming songs well sung. A wonderful choice for the very young and old fools like me.

Our 8 year old simply loves this CD, listening to it repeatedly as part of a short list of music he likes for bedtime.
