5.0 out of 5 stars Dracula the Person
When I picked up this book I thought it was going to be the same story that we've all read before. But it's not! It goes deep into Dracula's life and how he felt through out the different stages of his life. I couldn't put the book down for a second! I recomend this book for anyone who wants to get to know who Dracula really is.

3.0 out of 5 stars Same story as Asa Drakes Crimson Kisses
Good Dracula Lore -but I think C Dean Andersson and Asa Drake are one and the same, This seems to be an abridged version of Asa Drakes Crimson Kisses (also out of print but available through Amazon sellers). Drakes book is a bit more detailed. Read both. 4 stars for Drake, 3 for Andersson. And if anyone out there knows if the Authors are one and the same, post and let me...

5.0 out of 5 stars An amazing love, adventure, and action story. Don't miss it!, October 12, 2004
This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
I have read this book at least 20 times, and it gets better every time I read it! Anybody with an interest in Vampires NEEDS to own this book! The Dracula story told from Dracula's perspective. You will not be able to put it down. I have several because I loan it out to friends, and I rarely get it back.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Different Twist On An Old Story, April 3, 2007
By
This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
I bought my first copy of this back in 1998. I have read it easily 7 times since then. Its not the most masterfully written novel, but I have enjoyed it for many years. It brings up a different look into the Dracula story and really humanizes the character more. I can honestly say I enjoyed this book better than others but I know I am not alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible, September 21, 1999
This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
An incredible theory of the life/undeath of Drakulya, but so much more than that. A theory of the world we live in, the powers that be. The views given of God and Satan are disturbingly probable..........

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Good Reading, May 11, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
I have read a great deal of vampire novels and this one is definitely on the top of my list. I loved how the author combined the historical Vlad the Impaler and the fictional Dracula and made it seem so real. It was a love story that definitely touched my heart and is was very well written. I would recommend this to anyone who loves vampire novels.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic! A wonderfully crafted work., April 18, 1999

This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
Simply one of the most fascinating books Ive ever read. It is one of the very few books Ive read where I kept asking myself "Is it really possible?..." Andersson performs a briliant combination with the historical Prince Vlad and the shocking world of the undead. This is a must read for anyone interested in Dracula or Vampires in general. Simply Wonderous !!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Damn., December 29, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: I Am Dracula (Paperback)
This, I can say, without doubt or hesitation, is one of the finest books I have ever read. The author is entirely underrated, truly one of the great artists of his day. This book ought to be required reading somewhere along the line. He is amazingly concise, covering the life and times of the warlord prince, both in history and imagination in about 90,000 words. I am impressed sir, and recommend this book to all who would hear my review.
