Great and detailed stories of Babaji in Haidiyakhan,
By A Customer
This review is from: I Am Harmony: A Book About Babaji (Paperback)
This is a charming book full of master/ disciple stories. The Light of Babaji shines through the many tales told to and experienced by the author who had spent more than 3 years in India with Babaji. I have read many books about Babaji and had the priviledge to be with him in the early 1980's. To those who realize that Babaji is a "continuing story" and 'with' us always in spirit and now... sometimes in the physical... I recommend "HAIDIYAKHANDI: Path to Happiness" found on this website in the books about Babaji. It tells of Babaji's return in 1991-1993 and the teachings He asked to be included in the book.

This is an account of one person who spent time with Sri Herakhan Babaji. It tells the story of Radhye Shyam's time spent with Babaji and the experiences he gained. It's a good place to start if you want to find out about this incarnation of Mahavatar Babaji and the other incarnations of Babaji that have been experienced. Having read other books that have been written about Babaji I would definitely urge people to read this book in their spiritual search and have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars.

Herakhan Babaji is not Mahavatar Babaji,
By A Customer
This review is from: I Am Harmony: A Book About Babaji (Paperback)
The reviews of Radhe Shyam's book reveals a serious misconception. Babaji is a common title of respect in India for a realized master. Herakhan Babaji is not Mahavatar Babaji discussed in "Autobiography of a Yogi." The Babaji discussed by Yogananda was born in India around 200 A.D. Through the perfection of certain yogic techniques, he attained physical immortality. He taught these to his sister Mataji, so that she too, is immortal. He has never left his body and according to Ram Gopal's testimony in "Autobiography", he promised Mataji and Lahiri Mahasaya that he never will.

This is a great, and very compehensive book about Babaji, I have read most every book in the english language on Haidakhan Babaji, also known as Mahavatar Babaji, and several other names, other books I strongly recommend are Shiva Mahavatar Babaji, Babaji Gateway to the light, and Babaji Meeting with truth, among many others.

The author brings out some interesting details about Mahavatar Babaji that may give readers new light about this legendary great soul. For a another revealing glimpse of Babaji's spiritual lineage, I suggest reading "AUTOGIOGRAPHY of a YOGI" by Paramahansa Yogananda,(SRF pub -via Amazon).
