This review is from: I Am Innocent!: A Comprehensive Encyclopedic History of the World's Wrongly Convicted Persons (Paperback)
Exhaustive, detailed, and very scary book about innocent people thrown in jail for crimes they didn't commit. The cover says it all: "How hate, revenge, lunacy, deception, greed, corruption, stupidity and common error sent innocent people to their fate." That doesn't cover mistaken identity, intentional convictions based on the desire to advance careers (although I suppose that could fall under corruption), and coercion.Great book. |
