My daugther is 4 1/2 and just starting to read - this book was the perfect level for her - one or two new words - but not too hard. The illustrations were also nice.

This is the cutest book, written in Spanish, with appealing illustrations. I tutor adults at various levels of literacy and language skills, and I will be ordering more copies for the very basic students. It has only a few words on each of 15 pages, in large type, so it will be perfect to get students started in reading. I would say that it would also be very good for little kids learning Spanish, which is, of course, what it's meant for.

I am biased. My daughter is on the Autism Spectrum and it has been a struggle to discover how to get her to the side of the "readers". I am Lost! is the first book she read completely independently. It is a well written story with nice word choices for easy sounding out and recognizable sight words. It will be my favorite for a long time to come.

This delightfully illustrated Spanish-language book is perfect for young children. In addition to the adorable main character, a puppy, it teaches several valuable lessons: why someone may get lost; the importance of knowing one's address; and how the police help people in trouble. Get this book for the Spanish speaking child in your family!
