4.0 out of 5 stars An Introduction To David Icke, June 13, 2002
By
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
This is a smaller size book (compared to the other books by David) and this is a definite "introductory" book to David's ideas and his philosophy. This book will ease anyone into to his other works without blowing somebody's "reality circuit". The ideas presented are simply and easy to understand and you might find yourself saying "hey, that's true!". One of his classic examples is featured in this book about the herd of sheep being compared to the human race. Quite eye opening if you've never heard it before.

If you'd like to expand you view of life and what's happening on this little planet, but haven't read any other David Icke books...this is the book for you. If you've already read any of his later books (and the truth shall set you free, the biggest secret, children of the matrix)...then this is a book for you only if you are a "big fan", if not, skip it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fantasitc Icke 'bible!', December 13, 2002

This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
I would strongly urge anyone, particulary those who are not familiar with Icke or his work to read this book. There is no doubt that it will change everything you thought you knew about the world - and yourself. Excellent beginner Icke book, anyone can pick it up and read it and be changed for life. Definatly not as comprehensive as Ickes other books, but perfect for beginners. Icke adds some delightful humour and and some fantasic insights that will make even the most stubborn and skeptical reader think - a lot. For Icke fans, his brand of humour is revealed in greater detail in this book without the book ever losing its sense of urgency and seriousness - fantastic stuff all-round. The book is definatly a small price to pay for your freedom - you wont look at the world the same again. A must for anyone who wants to open their mind and hearts :)

This is a fantastic read... A confirmation of many things I believed for a long time and there are many more things that hadn't occured to me that seem plausable, even probable after reading. While I'm not so sure about chapter 4... The rest is a stunning piece of work. Fascinating, accurate, and it appears to be the absolute truth - in my life anyway. This is one of Icke's strongest books yet! Hihgly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing, May 7, 2003
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
This is one of the most life changing books I've ever encountered. It took me on a journey through multiple dimensions of life. It begins by detailing how most of us have been indoctrinated since childhood and have lost ourselves in the process. Icke then goes on to tell us about a global conspiracy that is deliberately doing what they can to strip us of our ability to create our own lives as our unique selves. This is followed by some very grizzly, hard-to-believe negative data about what has been going on all over the world.

Then comes the good news. David goes into detail about how we create our own lives and our own experiences. This is followed by a very high level view of the world, all of existence, and the forces that are shaping the world toward a wonderful outcome. David invites us all to choose our own path and contribute to the high dimensional influences that are dramatically increasing the love in the world.

This book inspired me to immediately start operating in a new, much more relaxed, loving mode. I'm finally using information I've known for years. There is no need to wait. We can fully live our unique lives immediately. Everybody wins.

5.0 out of 5 stars The truth about our spirtual nature!, August 30, 2004
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
I rate this book 5 stars only because of the magnificent, liberating ideas that are introduced in regards to the current financial system we operate under and the true spirtual nature of humanity. The difference that these 2 ideas have and will continue to make in my life are incredible. And it will do the same for you!

On the negative side, some of his ideas about former and current Presidents and other world leaders, who are really Reptilian aliens that can shapeshift into human beings, hob-nobbing together with their group of "zombie sex slaves", which they rape frequently, etc.,threw me off a bit!

This is really a different book. I would read one thing and be so inspired that I wanted to kiss him on one cheek, and then on the next page, I would read something so "out there" that I wanted to slap him on the other cheek. That's the kind of book that this is!

But, remember "you don't have to throw away the baby with the bath water". This book is well worth reading for the profound spiritual ideas that will enable you to gain control of your life once again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pure religion is Love in action, December 26, 2004

Sunshine Greeny (The Wonderful World of Colonized Minds) - See all my reviews
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
I've read several of Icke's books, all informative and highly entertaining, provided you're open minded and compelled to venture into the exploration of "reality", or speculative reality.

What exactly is consciousness? Reality? Sanity?

The 'white-coats-and-guess-work' people know about as much as YOU do, okay; they only *appear* more accomplished and "official" as they grope blindly in the dark! :)

As for David Icke, he openly states, "I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything. What you believe in is your business, not mine." Fair enough. His message is quite simple actually; everything we need to know and feel is within all of us, and always has been.

The aspects of Icke's books I enjoy the most are those views that come straight from the heart, and most of this book focuses on just that. Whether or not you agree with the Illuminati-bloodline-shape-shifters grinding life into dust and steering us towards centralized New World Order or not (he doesn't delve into much of that in this book)..Icke offers many other views on the mass communication breakdown and general disconnect that much of humanity sadly experiences, often as a manifestation of the Few who rig the game, resulting in the "herd" policing itself. He offers insight into how people can strive to overcome self imposed psychological and emotional dilemma's we needlessly imprison our existence in.

Although "I Am Me, I Am Free" would not be my recommendation for the Icke book to begin with ("...And The Truth Shall Set You Free" is a good place to start) it is indeed a unique little number - small in number of pages, BIG in message of spirit!

Read alongside Carl Jung, Philip K Dick, and Herbert Marcuse.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Robots' Guide to Freedom, October 19, 2006
By
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
The above is the subtitle of the book and exactly what the book is about. "Robots", the name first brought to the world by Czech writer Karel Capek. Robots represent the herd mentality of the human race as mentioned in the first chapter: "The nail that stands out from the rest is the first one to be hit." Add a little bit of religion, "We still believe too much and think too little" and politics, "Humanity has given its mind away and allowed the few to run the show", corruption in governments, exploitation of millions by financial institutions, indoctrination of kids, child abuse, mind control, and you get the picture.

You may not agree with everything, but I assure you that you will see eye to eye with a lot of things David Icke says. The book is an "early" Icke, circa 1996. It was written during the period when the author was still SEEKING the answers (today, he KNOWS them). Some of the past reviews dealt with subjects that might be considered either "extreme" (shapeshifting reptilians controlling the world; world leaders - including former Canadian prime minister Pierre E. Trudeau - killing, torturing and raping human slaves), or "personal point of view" (extra-marital sexual relationships flooding us with new knowledge and energy that allows us to evolve to a higher-level of consciousness). A subject I would consider as "radical" deals with AIDS (claims re HIV/AIDS transmission are nothing but lies). Could any (alternative) doctor or healer out there read and comment on this?

By the way, Mr. Trudeau had the privilege to share his bed with the world's most beautiful and distinguished women (Leona Boyd, Barbara Streisand and Karen Kain among others), had a 30-years younger charming wife and had to chase women away so he could get at least a few hours of sleep every week. Why the heck would he be interested in a hamburger when he had steak in his own bedroom?

The book is brilliantly written, both in form and substance. What is absolutely amazing is the clarity and openness with which the author presents his view of the world. He doesn't want to please anybody. He doesn't want to convince or convert anybody. He doesn't camouflage his thoughts and words. That is very rare, indeed, in today's society where people turn off their cellphones, switch off the lights and shut the doors when they want to talk about the world. My compliments to his courage and honesty. "I am me I am free" is a mind-opening and thought-provoking read for those who want to see another point of view.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent book, open mind recommended..., May 16, 2007
This review is from: I Am Me I Am Free: The Robots' Guide to Freedom (Paperback)
"I am me, I am free" is an outstanding book that will rattle your belief system, drop kick your social and religious dogma, but nurture you with a new perspective on the world.

Whether you take his teachings as gospel or continue to exist in this matrix, the book will leave its mark on your conscious. You will not be able to see the world the same again.
