Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones has an incredible way with words. This book is a series of sermons based on 1 Timothy 1:12-"Nevertheless, I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day." Dr. Lloyd-Jones examines why the gospel is still relevant to us, even today, and makes it so clear that Christian life is not about a system of do's and don't's, but really entrusting Jesus Christ, God in the flesh come to save us through the cross, with our lives. This is an inspiring and edifying book for Christians of every level. Highly recommended.

"I AM NOT ASHAMED...." by David Martyn Lloyd-Jones is out of print- Baker Books Publisher.
This book is quite special for all who "call" themselves by the name- "Christian". I wish it could be reprinted sometime soon. I have bought seven or eight copies to give to friends. marjoriec@centurylink.net
