Honestly, I was a little bit skeptical for the price. We've had this product for over 8 months and no problems. Good radio reception. Our cabinets aren't a very sturdy material so the cd player skips when we close the cabinets it's attached to(basically have to slam in order to skip). The cd player ISN'T the kind that is extremely particular on playing burnt cd's or cd's that have a considerable amount of scratches. Good sound quality as well. Great value for the price!

I bought this as a gift for my mother. It arrived on time, barely. The box was undamaged. Unfortunately, it just didn't work. My parents went to all the trouble of drilling holes in the cabinet and installing it only to attempt to put in a CD and find that the player didn't work at all. Overall, a big letdown. However, two stars because customer service was excellent.

All in all, not a best buy,

The quality of this product is on par with the clock radios you can buy in the big-box stores for around 15 dollars, so with the addition of the cd player, I'd say it's worth about 25 bucks. The mounting system is cheap and ill-designed. For a permanent mount in the kitchen, I'd prefer a product of a bit higher quality and provided with a pot-metal bracket of some type to mount it.

When the product I received did not work I sent it back. I was pleased to receive an e-mail back from the supplier who promptly returned my refund. He worked very hard to make the returning process very easy. He clearly informed me that he uses products with a good reputation. I would highly recommend using his products in the future.

You can get louder systems, but you're gonna pay a lot more. This is a very nice unit for the price. Only problem is the CD door sticks sometimes, just have to give it alittle nudge. But really, it's a very good radio for the kitchen area.

The player arrived broken - even before I opened the box, I could hear a loose piece inside. The player would not load a CD. Exchanged this for another product (paying shipping to send the broken one back), and received a new player. The new player worked for about 6 months before it broke. Very poor quality, especially for something that requires drilling into a kitchen cabinet.
