This is a must get CD/DVD set if you are a Beyonce fan! I went to one of Beyonce's I Am... Tour concerts over the summer, but I did not get to attend this intimate Las Vegas show, therefore it's a great honor for me and those who missed the concert to enjoy it on CD/DVD.

The Las Vegas set list is very different from the regular concert set list - the Las Vegas concert has more acoustic set for the first part, and for the second part, Beyonce connected her songs with a story of her career.

The acoustic set includes Beyonce's hit singles such as "Halo", "If I Were A Boy", and "Irreplaceable", and also her lesser known songs like "Scared of Lonely", "Resentment", and "Satellites". This acoustic arrangement really made the songs more intimate and showcased Beyonce rather nicely. The acoustic version of "Sweet Dreams" is surprisingly good!

The second part of the concert is the upbeat/dancing part of the concert. Beyonce started her career story with her Destiny Child's hit singles medley, including "No No No", "Bugaboo", "Independent Women", and "Bootylicious", etc. Then she transitioned the segment into the "Dangerously In Love" era with songs such as "Crazy In Love" and "Naughty Girl". For the finale, Beyonce performed B-Day's "Get Me Bodied" and her 2009 smash single, "Single Ladies".

The concert flowed very well, and Beyonce's energy was beaming throughout the concert (her bands, dancers, and crew were superb to have put this concert together in such a short time!) This CD/DVD also contains a documentary on how the concert was put together. This concert collection is definitely worth the investment! Now Beyonce only needs to release the regular tour version so we get to see more Sasha Fierce, because songs such as "Ego", "Diva", "Freakum Dress", and "Radio" were not included in the Las Vegas shows. 5 STARS!

Beyonce has focused this entire dvd to show her vocal capabilities. The Dvd is up close with a more personal feel. The difference between Encore and any other tour of hers, We can actually feel like we are in the front row with this one. The beginning of the DVD is acoustic and the other half regular speed. Beyonce is an amazing performer and she shows that in this Dvd also. Great Job. Plus it also comes with the tracks on regular Cd which is awesome.

Expectations run high at the sight of a live concert by Beyonce. Don't expect anything like The Beyonce Experience - this concert filmed in Las Vegas a few months ago is a slick, up-close and personal experience. The first set (my favourite part of the show) is an unplugged selection of hits from her recent album, as well as a few older ones, which showcases Beyonce's wide ranging vocals, which never falter throughout the show. Her all female band, as well as a couple of string players offer strong support. The staging is unobtrusive and the lighting complimentary throughout. Highly recommended.

This cd/dvd is EXCELLENT! I may not like Beyonce's business practice of re-releasing multiple versions of the same CD, but no one can deny the fact she is a great singer. This collection allows us to sit back and appreciate Beyonce's raw and diverse talents. Everything is stripped down and she allows us to really get into the songs and her performances. She has come a LONG way from Crazy In Love to now and its wonderful to see her growth. What a wonderful gem from one of the truely gifted singers of this generation!

This one of a kind concert DVD truly highlights Beyonce's extreme talent. It gives a real personal firsthand look at how her successful show is made. The special featurette makes Beyonce shine as the Queen that she is. The actual concert is nothing short of AMAZING. You will not be disappointed! Definitely recommended!

Don't listen to J. Sealee review. He obviously didn't buy it. Just one of those beyonce haters. If you have been following beyonce career, this is a great video to add to the collection. Something nice to watch in the future when your bored, or to have playing at a small party.

Definitely a must if you are a Beyonce fan as I am. Beyonce has really came a long way with her singing and overall performing on stage. For the person who gave their review a 1, they are absolutely ridiculous, and do not pay mind to their worthless review. In their opinion, Beyonce bit off of Michael Jackson, that in my eye, is not reason enough to give one star. They clearly are not rating the actual dvd/cd.

Beyonce is on top of her game. I am ready for a new cd to hit the markets, but since she changes the songs up a lil bit (acoustic versions, etc), it makes it very exciting to watch, and her vocals are out the world. A lot of the moving/dancing that she used to do prevented her from hitting a good note. Not anymore. I respect her for all the work she has put in and it clearly is paying off....she keeps making versions to I Am...Sasha Fierce, and guess what? They are still selling like crazy...

At First I was Skeptical About getting this due to the Fact That Beyonce was getting me sick with so many Re-releases of her I..Am Cd, I mean she had the Platinum, Remix, Deluxe, DVD Edition, so to me this was just another ploy to Get Money from her Fans. But I decided to Pick it Up and Boy was I not Dissapointed.
I wont go into major detail because the show is Long and she does over 30 songs, most which are not in full length. Here are Highlights.

Halo- Vocals were on point, She sounded amazing and the song really gets you Going

If I were a Boy- Great Performance, She also sings a part of Alanis Morissette's You outa Know which was a great rendition.

Sweet Dreams Medley - Epic, That's All I will Say, Dangerously In Love was sung beautifully.

Destiny's Childs- The Medley Was Incredible, Beyonce talks throughout the songs telling the story on how the group came to be and from how there were 5 to only being 3. Really Great

Crazy In Love- Crazy Performance, Bee Shut it Down

Single Ladies(Finale)- She Tore this Up, She danced she did the whole "Now Wait" Just buy it and you'll see.


Fianally This DVD is amazing, It shows why Beyonce is one of the Best performers

I have to say I was so excited to receive the DVD 'cuz I've been waiting for it with anticipation for long. Though Beyonce didn't come to here Taiwan, I still expected to see her fantastic performance even on DVD. After I watched all the DVD, I think the performing part is unquestionably great! you know the lights, the band, the dance, the music are all so fabulous~ But right after I watched the part "What Happens In Vegas", I admit that I am a little disappointed at first. That's because I think Beyonce behind the scences is somewhat arrogant. She wants everything she wants to always satisfy her, which seems like she thinks of herself as a superstar who can't not be offended at all and all her crew seem so tired fom her arrogance and her being unreasonable. I'm a sensible fan so I speak this out. But later, I think maybe this is a common condition when one wants his performance to be great and to be his own so he might tell everyone around him to do this to do that. Besides, thinking of her hard-working on inspiring women makes me forget her arrogance I thought she had previously. So in brief, I think her own "feminism" is far remarkable than her deed behind the scenes. So the same, Beyonce GO!^^

When I purchased this concert I was not really sure what to expect in terms of it being different from her usual show, but I must say I was just really, really pleased. This show clearly demonstrates why "B" is above and beyond her contemporaries in the business...why she is a consummate artist. First of all, unlike many of those contemporaries, she really can SING. And, do it while dancing (a lot... not just spinning around or stepping here and there to the music) without lip syncing. Thank goodness for having to jog while singing in those early years! Secondly, she absolutely loves what she does and it clearly shows in the way she feels about and relates to her audience when she performs. Beyonce does not phone it in, she works it.

The show is divided into two segments, with an intermission entertainment in between. The first half was the most interesting for me. The standouts for me were the "deja vu","sweet dreams", and "if I were a boy' medleys". The scatting on the "deja vu" medley was just terrific! Her rendition of Anita Baker's "sweet love" on the "dreams" medley was fabulous. Alanis Morisette's "You outta know" shout out with "If I were a boy" was fierce!

I also developed a new appreciation for the song "resentment". Frankly, sometimes on her CD I would skip the song. Until seeing this concert it never appealed to me. I really listened to the music and the words, and she put such emotion into the telling of the songs story. I like it very much now, and will never feel about it the way I did prior to this performance.

The intermission was a surprise and a huge hit! I was expecting it to be a typical band solo showcasing the various members...but a "tap dance"?....who woulda' thought it? It was soooo entertaining, that you really did not miss B's absence for that brief period. The audience clearly enjoyed it, and I just loved it.

The second half of the show was really clever. The framework for showcasing the performance of her many popular songs was telling the story of her struggle and rise to fame from the beginning to the present, with humor and "you can't help but get up out of your seat" performances. It really felt like I was a part of the audience at Wynn instead of sitting on my couch.

Beyonce's love for her fans is so apparent when she performs for them, and is also demonstrated by the fact that get in addition to the DVD, an audio of the concert (2 CD's) as well. I get to experience it all over again while driving to work. What a treat!

This concert video tells the world that Beyonce has truly arrived as an entertainer. She is so talented that she can do a stadium concert for thousands of screaming tweens and teens, front a Vegas style show for more mature audiences, and is definitely more than ready for Broadway. She is clearly prepared to be around for a very long time, no matter what musical tastes are in vogue over the next few decades.

Sister Sasha is definitely fierce!!
