I love this lotion for my KP, and my extremely dry skin.
It really works best of all the products I have tried, not to mention it is the most affordable. I like this lotion because it doesn't hurt $$ to use all over rather than just my KP spots.

I bought this to help with KP, but it's not really helping. I am using it with Carmol 20 Cream and I haven't seen much improvement. Oh well.

I bought this cream to treat my keratosis pilaris aka chicken skin. You know you have it if all your life you've had little bumps on your outer arms and usually on your thighs. Some think they're razor bumps or pimples. But it's really a build up of keratin around your hair follicles. So you need a cream with alpha hydroxy to break it down and "melt" it away.
I read all this on a Keratosis website. They suggested this cream as one of the "cheaper" solutions, so I found it on Amazon and I gave it a shot.
It arrived nice and safe. The cap was taped shut when I opened it, which helps prevent spillage in transit, nice. The label says it's suggested by Dermatologists and Podiatrists, so you can use it on your elbows, feet, etc. I did and it worked nicely!
I put some on my forearms, which are the worst for me, and it seemed to immediately smooth out the bumps! My boyfriend brushed up against my arm and noticed how smooth and cool to the touch it was immediately. He too has keratosis.
It's not greasy and doesn't slough off after you rub it in like some creams do. It does have that "tart" alpha hydroxy smell though, and I prefer a more pleasant smelling cream. But you can't smell anything after it dries, so it's not a huge deal.
The directions say to apply it twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. I hear that you may not see permanent results until after 4 weeks. But so far I can see some improvement. I'll update you later!

I am very pleased with the AmLactin Moisturizing Cream as well as the timely delivery. My pharmacist never has the product available when I am ready to fill my order. I am also happy to know that DERMAdoctor carries the product therefore, I can order from you before I completely run out.

Tried a few products for rough skin (keratosis polaris)and this one seems to work the best. By using at least twice per day it really does improve the condition of the skin making it much smoother.

I was prescribed a lactin 12% cream years ago by a dermitolgist. It works well and it is difficult to find in many drug stores. It is sold asan over-the-counter product.

I was advised by a dermatologist to use this to help with my actinic keratosis, but it hasn't helped for that. Instead, I've been using it on my feet because I had horrible callouses and dry skin on them. After only about a week of using it twice a day, I was able to take a foot file to my feet and scrub all that yucky stuff off. It took all my callouses off along with the dry skin on my heels with very little effort. I have continued to use it 2x a day and the callouses haven't returned. All I do is slather it on and put a pair of cotton socks on so it gets into the skin and voila! No need to have pedicures, except for her to paint my nails because I can't do it myself. I'm so glad he recommended it to me!

WORKS WONDERS ON KERATOSIS PILARIS!!!
So my daughter was diagnosed at a early age with Keratosis Pilaris, also abbreviated KP.
I had her apply a thin layer morning and night. The 2nd day arrived and after 4 initial applications- to my amazement it had been reduced by 95%!!!
I wished I had taken before and after images to show results we experienced.
Amazing stuff at a reasonable price. A little goes a long way- so use a thin layer at first application.

I have SEVERE dry and flaky skin. I have started using AmLactin recently and my skin is FIXED!

Lactic acid just eats away all the dry and dead skin cells.

I highly recommend using a SPF 15-30 moisturizer during the day if you use this product and apply AmLactin at bedtime.

It will sting for first few times you use it. Don't worry because that means it's working!

This product works far better than other AHA products I've tried.

The AmLactin Moisturizing Cream works very well on my calloused feet. They have since become smooth to the touch. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this product.
