For the money, I cannot recommend a better product. I am Black and this product eliminates hyperpigmentation on the knees, elbows, inner thighs and buttocks. My skin is even, glowing, soft and hydrated. Even old stretch marks look better. For years, people have remarked upon how beautuful my body skin is. I owe it all to this product. I just wish I started using it as a teenager. No more chronically dry and rough skin, ash or discoloration. I've recommended it to other dark-skinned people (i.e. Indians, Hispanics, etc.), all of whom now swear by it.

This cream/lotion really helps heal those thick, dry rough spots on your feet. Expensive, but really works and take only a small amount. Highly recommend for diabetic feet. Well worth the cost

I have excema and really, really flaky and dry skin. I also have those little bumps on the back of my arms that look sort of like pimples. This lotion is so, so good for both! My skin stays moisturized all day long and the bumps are disappearing.

This lotion has worked miracles for my sons with x-linked ichthyosis. After a week, the scales on their arms were gone, and after two weeks, their legs look practically normal. It doesn't sting like Lac-Hydrin, either. We love it around here!

Results after only one use,

I have keratosis pilaris (aka chicken skin), with acne and sensitive skin. I have tried natural remedies for a long time now with very minimal results, and I was reluctant to try this because of the cost and the ingredients. I bought my bottle at CVS, and they also make a store-brand version that is slightly cheaper, but I had a coupon so I tried the name-brand first. I put it on before bedtime and my skin soaked it up, but I didn't enjoy the slightly greasy feel or chemical-plastic like smell. I am happy there is no added fragrance though. The next morning, ALL rough patches on my skin, even my feet and elbows were as soft as can be. My skin definitely feels smoother but it doesn't look less bumpy yet. The bottle recommends twice a day, so I will try this regimen for 2 weeks and see how it goes. After the second application in the morning, it didn't soak it up as readily so a little went a long way, but my skin is glowing and I actually look more tan - not from the lotion, but the fact that my skin was actually moisturized and wasn't clinging to dead cells. I don't consider it to be a cure and I don't plan to use it every day, but I AM impressed. I would recommend this to anyone with KP or very dry skin, and to start off doing it at night only. Oh yes, but I had some little irritated spots from shaving and picked acne scabs, and when I put this on right after, it stung but only for a moment. Best of all, my skin STAYED moisturized!

I always have dry skin whether it's winter or summer. I tried so many lotions and creams and never got such a result as I get with this lotion. I recently started going to tanning sallons and my skin became worse. It began to flake all over even though i wasn't getting burned. After tanning salon and a shower, I applied this lotion all over and my skin stayed moisturized for the whole day. My skin is glowing and it's very very soft. LOVE IT. However, just want to mention that even though it says fragrance free, it has a little bit of a weird smell, but I still give it 5 stars.

I have severely dry skin and suffer from "Winter Itch." I've tried humidifiers; quick, lukewarm showers; allergy medicine; staying hydrated, etc...all with varying degrees of success. I tried a few other lotions but came across this one, having read that it has a couple of different active ingredients that are better for moisturizing your skin. The reviews are not lying about this lotion; it works - period. The lotion itself feels different from other lotions, not as creamy, and yet once you rub it on, your skin immediately gets a nice shine and just feels moisturized. I rub this on right after a shower and never have to re-apply again until my next shower; seriously, I've worked out and done strenuous activities and this lotion doesn't quit (Won't survive constant hand sanitizer use but what can?). And you don't need too much of it, unlike other lotions. I'm done with other lotions, and strongly recommend that, if you have severely dry skin, don't bother with anything but this lotion.

Best Product Out There For Severe Dry Skin!,
By
This review is from: AmLactin Moisturizing Body Lotion, 14.1-Ounces (Health and Beauty)
My son has extremely dry skin on his arms legs and neck through torso Oct.-April. AmLactin is the only product we have found that works; it's pricey, but it's worth every penney. My son used to look like an alligator during the months I mentioned; it was extremely embarrassing at school, etc. He puts it on in the evening and showers the next morning and it's like he sheds the alligator skin; the skin underneath is soft and beautiful like a babies. Try it and you will agree; it is the best lotion available!
