I purchased this along with a similar product from amazon with the idea that I'd keep the best one for myself and give the other away at my car clubs annual White Elephant gift exchange. here's the other one I bought:

I like this light it's more compact the entire retrieval tip fully retracts into the handle. Because of that there is not room for the expected AA or AAA batteries. this uses small watch type batteries that are more expensive and less available. It remains to be seen how long they'll last but I'm concerned that when I really need this I'll find the batteries are dead.

This arrived in a huge box with just the flashlight and receipt. No packaging or packing material and it was pretty banged up and scratched. It didn't work because battery was dead. After a new battery I did decide to keep it because it was very handy. Although the replacement battery did cost more than the entire light.

How did it take this long for someone to think of this? What A great idea, a flash light and extend-able magnet in one. Absolutely love it!
