Amana Tool Prestige Super Fine Dado Set with six 4-wing chippers. industrial quality high performance dado set. A stacking dado set is an ideal tool for cutting dadoes and grooves as well as tenons for strong mortise-and-tenon joinery. Amana Tool’s Prestige dado sets the standard for smooth, flat-bottom cuts both with and across the grain. This Super Fine Dado Set cuts super smooth, perfect flat-bottom grooves that are free of splinters or rough edges. Like all of the blades in Amana’s Prestige lineup, the new super-smooth cutting Prestige dado set features the latest in cutting tool technology including massive steel tool-steel plates and precision ground D-10 carbide teeth. The 8-inch diameter, 24-tooth outside plates feature ATB grind geometry with every sixth tooth flat ground for efficient chip removal and increased tool life. Each tooth body also features anti-kickback design to help prevent overfeeding. Each of the six interior chippers features four teeth and the standard width capacity is 1/8-inch through 29/32-inch. Adjustments can be easily made in 1/32-inch increments and even finer adjustments, as small as .002-inch, can be made by using the supplied shim set making the Prestige Super Fine Dado Set perfect for undersized plywood, as well as softwood/hardwood, veneered plywood, melamine/laminated materials. Each Amana Tool Prestige Super Fine Dado Set includes the following: 1 Inside 8-inch by 24T 5/8-inch Bore Saw Blade, 1 Outside 8-inch by 24 Tooth 5/8-inch Bore Saw Blade, 4 1/8-inch Chippers, 1 3/32-inch Chipper, 1 1/16-inch Chipper, 1 Shim set for fine adjustment of kerf width, 1 Instruction/Safety Manual, and 1 Hard plastic storage/carrying case with handle.
