Product Description

From the Manufacturer

A.G.E saw blades (American German Engineering) by Amana Tool are designed for the mid size cabinet shops as well as professional hobbyists. These saw blades are Industrial quality, but at a great value. Made in Germany, these saw blades have a massive German precision ground steel plates for tight clearance tolerances. Other features include laser cut expansion slots allowing the blade to expand and contract from heat preventing warpage, extra large European style carbide tips providing more resharpenings. All these features assist in providing longer blade life and smooth cutting. This blade is specially designed for sliding compund miter saws, providing an exceptional finish. The negative 5 degree hook angle provides an extra margin of safety by pushing back the stock downward and toward the fence. Thin kerf blades reduce waste in expensive materials and require less horsepower to operate.

I'll tell you what, guys ( AND Gals)--I LOVE Freud blades ( & router bits) and will always buy them. But this Amana A.G.E. blade blows me away! Both of these blades are made in Germany (NOT China) When I took it out of the package,I thought "wow-this blade is sharp!"
I have used all brands of blades and will keep using Frued, but this A.G. E.is REALLY a nice blade for my Bosch table saw(that's why I'm buying one to try on my DeWalt sliding miter)
It's quiet, makes a clean smooth cut with mo sanding needed and no tear out.
It's priced right ( like Frued)and stays sharp.
I've run a lot of soft/hard wood through my table saw with it and it seems to stay sharp a long time. I've cleaned it once (recommend the Rockler saw blade cleaning kit)and is still cutting great!
With this blade-you DO get what you pay for! Your moneys worth! Good luck and have fun!

I have been using Amana blades for years. They arrive true and sharp and hold their edge. Heavy carbide allows them to be sharpened numerous times.
