Best South American Rock Band!,

This review is from: Amanece (Audio CD)
Excellent cd! First of all, the lyrics are very cool, very deep and sometimes abstract. Second, the music is very catchy with lots of twists. Their style somewhat reminds me of the great Soda Stereo, as they are kind of spacey, and have rythems that soda would have come up with. All the songs are great even the untitled track #10, which is a haunting musical piece.I know that these Chileans have been putting out recordings for over 10 years, and I had a chance to hear the older stuff, and it is out of this world as well. It is a shame that La Ley gets all the radio time, while these guys seem to get shoved aside, cuz this band deserves to be heard.

I just love finding music that caress my ears. That gets me happy, that makes me smile. And that happened again with Lucybell. This is way ahead from Shakira, Juanes, Mana, etc. This is no latin/pop/ska whatever corporate trendy music. This is serious and challenging music. While Lucybell's sound provokes a remembrance of Soda Stereo, they are not a copy. They have their own deep, warm brown sound. Very acoustic with a nice electric touch. If you're like me, always searching for good great music, take my advice for real: buy this. Discover why while I write this I'm listening to them with a smile on my face. I just really love it when I discover something worth listening. I'm happy.

Definitively a Must-Have.,

Lucybell surprise us once again with their 4th studio album and they still haven't lost that magic, that mistery that made us fall in love with albums like 'rojo' or 'Viajar'. Starting with 'Luces no belicas' strong intro, followed by 'arrepentimiento' showing us a more electronic sound. Then we have beautiful balads such as 'milagro' and 'micorazon'. and, finally 'amanece' which in my opinion would be the masterpiece of the album; slowy grows with valenzuela's soft voice, gives you the chills, leaves you thinking. it's an album to enjoy. definitively worthy.
