Este segundo intento de Maria Jose es espectacular. Aunque el concepto no es nuevo, Fey, Cafe Tacuba, por mencionar unos cuantos, han hecho albunes de versiones nuevas de clasicos, Maria Jose hace estos clasicos totalmente suyos. Cuando oigo las canciones con Maria Jose se me olvida que estas canciones fueron exitos con artistas como Daniela Romo, Maria Conchita Alonso, Ana Gabriel, Vicky Carr, Rocio Banquells, Lucia Mendez, Jeanette hace mas de veinte años. El disco tiene excelentes arreglos ya que fue producido por Loris Ceroni; productor que en los ochentas trabajo con Alejandra Guzman, Yuri, Fandango, Tatiana, Lucero, entre muchos otros artistas que en aquel entonces fueron producidos por el famoso productor español Miguel Blasco. Fue grabado en Italia e Inglaterra.

MariaJose has reinvented herself once more and reimagined 80's balads making them all her own. Amante de lo Ajeno is sure to become a classic in its own right. A well balanced album with a combination of melancholy and sweet pop all mixed in one. From the catchy first single No Soy Una Señora which quickly invades your ears and won't leave until you just love it. Each song is carefully selected and with her energetic voice is refreshed and updated for today's electronic pop influenced listener. La Josa as her fans dearly call her has achieved something many other singers who rely on covers to fill an album or catch a second breath have only dreamed of. She has made songs that were once classic hits, and remade them new and noteworthy. Not to say the originals aren't worth a renewed listen. But if it helps young audiences discover the original artists, than this album has done its job.

A magical trip to the 80's with an electronic beat of catchy songs. I think you will agree, a recipe made in pop heaven!

Amante de lo ajeno es el disco mas recomendado por todos los que lo han escuchado, disco de covers ochenteros, en verdad comprenlo, no se arrepentiran, todas las canciones baladas pop con una gran voz.

A todos les recomiendo que se tomen un minuto para escuchar a Mariajose con este disco AMANTE DE LO AJENO les robara el corazon con su maravillosa voz que tiene y su unico estilo al interpretar las canciones de las grandes divas de los ochentas, no por algo ya se encuentra en los primeros lugares en ventas y en la radio, les recomiendo el disco a todos.

First of all, i have to say that i really like Maria Jos{e, i mean, she seems to be really nice, really energetic and super funny person but in this case i will talk about this album.

In 2007 she released a good album elctropop-ballad-rnb which almost nobody knew it, so, i guess that she thought: "If i want to have a big fanbase, i need to do poppy songs ans easy ballads"... the worst of this is that the bad news does not stop with that, she made an album of covers of 80s famous songs !!!!

I thought that she maybe could use an electronicpop sound again with the songs and maybe she could release a decent cd, but off course i was so wrong.

The whole album is easy pop-ballads, i mean, yes, Mariajosé has a really great and powerfull voice, she is very talented but the concept of her album is really trite and widely used in latinamerican market (so it is obviously a success).

I know that Maria José could offer us a great album with new lyrics and other sounds (she actually made that great album in 2007) but unfortunately. she is now preparing a 2nd part of this album, you know.. more covers, more easy ballads for radio.... it is really sad that a very talented girl lose her time making albums like this.

IN THIS REEDITION, the artwork is alittle bit different, the cover is better than the standarrd version and has 2 more tracks which are another 2 covers (so more of the same)

The dvd has a musical, she is a great singer ir repeat and is enjoyable listen her live, for fans the dvd also includes a poor photogallery, poor artwork and the music video of the single NO SOY UNA SEÑORA
