Si es verdad es una CLASICO. Amarte Es Un Placer esta lleno de energia y romanticismo que ha llevado a Luis Miguel ser el Mejor Artista Latino de la decada. Las canciones "PoP" del album te llevan a recordar cuando tenias 5-15 años, cuando salieron caciones como "Cuando Calienta el Sol" y "Sera Que No Me Amas". Las canciones romanticas del cd te llevan a recordar otra vez las melodias e instrumentacion del disco Segundo Romances. La verdad que es una cd con buena calidad. Tenemos que aceptar que LuisMi no es ignorante. Por lo menos sabe lo que esta pasando a fuera de su estilo como lo señala en los ultimos minutos de la casion "Te Propongo Esta Noche", cuando la cacion toma un curso de su pop clasico a el House. Tambiem tenemos que aceptar que LuisMi nunca va a cambiar su estilo y su idioma de cantar. Luis Miguel no se preocupa en lo que esta pasando con artistas como Marc A, Enrique I, y Ricky M. La calidad en que LuisMi hace sus discos es incomparable; y no le importa si vende menos o mas. El no se preocupa por lo comercial como lo estan haciendo, Ricky y Enrique.

Me encanta este nuevo CD de Luis Miguel. Su voz esta mejor que nunca, la controla en una forma increible de altos a bajos con facilidad. Es un PLACER escuchar este album. Los arreglos musicales son de lujo. Las letras muy reales a lo que es en la vida, me desconectan y me llevan a los intimo de mi ser. Gran calidad todo cuidado con detalle. No hay mejor voz en el mundo Latino que la de Luis Miguel. Aparte de su voz, es su interpretacion, por cierto muy de el. Tiene la habilidad de pasarnos su energia, pasion, emociones, etc. El mejor. Micky gracias por existir y por el respeto que le das a tu publico con tu trabajo. Este disco no es para amargados, es para gente sensible que sabe disfrutar de los momentos de la vida.

I have always loved Luis Miguel, but this album is a HUGE surprise. Without any hype,Luis quietly produced, wrote and sang the most wonderful album of the year ! Without any press or hard-sell, the fans turn out again and will not be disappointed. Luis Miguel is the Luciano Pavarotti of Pop music. No one can compare , in any language, in any country --- he crosses every boundry and goes directly to your heart and soul with his enigmatic voice and powerful lyrics and music. J.C. Calderon, as always, has written beautifully-matched songs for Micky's passionate voice, but we have to give a lot of credit in the music and lyric writing department to LUIS MIGUEL himself. Some of the best songs on this new CD are written/co-written by Micky. FOREVER, LUIS MIGUEL -- THE FINEST, MOST TALENTED SINGER FOR THE 21ST CENTURY !!! No one compares. YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AND WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE RECORDING ARTIST.

If anyone deserves the title of "King of contemporary Latin music," it's Luis Miguel. "Amarte es un Placer" is yet another jewel in Luis' dazzling crown. This album is a mixture of romantic ballads that will make you swoon and fast numbers that will get your body moving.

Luis is backed by a full orchestra. As always, Luis' voice is supple and full of emotion, and his performance is perfectly complemented by that of the accompanying musicians. My favorite tracks on the album include the ballad "Tu mirada," the gentle "Soy yo," and the energetic "Sol, Arena, y Mar." This album is a good choice for both devoted Luis Miguel fans and to newcomers who are interested in finding out why this performer is such a giant in contemporary Latin music.

Pienso que Luis M. Regresa a sus raices de Jazz- Pop que le dieran a conocer en toda America Latina, vuelve a cantar en tonos "altos" lo cual nos dice que su voz se conserva bastante bien . Se siente sin embargo la gran influencia de sus "Romances" lo cual da como resultado una produccion bastante completa,balanceada y excelentemente grabada. Con esta produccion y su respectiva gira de conciertos Luis Miguel seguramente reafirmara su popularidad y liderasgo con el publico de habla hispana,faltando solamente el estrategico y ultimo paso para consolidarse a nivel mundial como uno de los mejores solistas de todos los tiempos y esto se dara cuando se decida a grabar en Ingles,lo esperaremos con gusto.

This CD has the quality and musicality that we expect from a talented musician like Luis Miguel. The songs showcase his ability and the style that mde him "el rey". However, this CD lacks that extra something that makes this CD stands out from the rest. I don't know if he is afraid of a failure after the tremendous success of Romance series, or what. Seems like he is going for the safest way to reach the maximum audience for the past few years. It is a good marketing plan,though.

This CD is magnificent. His voice is better than ever, and the songs are pure poetry and rythm. I believe that this is the best Luis Miguel's cd since "soy como quiero ser".

I haven't been able to stop listening to it!!! And everytime I listen to it, I fall in love with a different song - they're all SO beautiful - his VOICE is SO beautiful, what more do we want! His combination of pops and ballads would more than please everyone. And he does! Some songs are meant to dance to and others are to cry with! His little sobs bring tears to my eyes and his incredibly strong voice fills me with energy and happiness. This is Luis Miguel at his best - just incredible!

I am always listening LM's songs, and this last album is so good as the others. He is really a king, which has no comparisons. I respect all other singers, but no one has so many techniques and inspiration as he has. Congratulations: to LM, all of his musicians and also for A.Manzanero and J.C.Calderon.

Luis Miguel reafirma su excelencia como cantante en este nuevo cd que consta de bellísimas baladas y entretenidas canciones pop. Pero lo más importante es la maravillosa voz que sigue conservando, a diferencia de muchos cantantes de moda, que sólo son esto: moda, pasajera y vana.
