I intended to give these as Christmas gifts, but when I received them they had already started growing. I read the box and it said I must plant them as soon as possible if there was already some growth. So, I wasn't able to give them as Christmas gifts. This was by no means the fault of the seller. I just didn't know anything about an amaryllis, but now I do! They are very beautiful and everyone has really enjoyed them.

I only held off a star since I have not seen this myself. I bought these for family for Christmas; they like them and say they are growing well. They got there in good time. Much cheaper and easier than getting it locally and mailing it myself as it would have cost over $10 to mail only halfway across the country!
