It took a while to get started, but when it did WOW! HUGE white blossoms, sparkly, big happy plant. When it stopped blooming I gave it to someone who knows how to rebloom them. It's kinda tricky getting them to bloom year after year from my experience. But it was well worth the money.

I sent four of these as gifts and am so embarrassed. It's not the seller's fault. It's mine. But I have always sent amaryllis as Christmas gifts and they have always come with pots and soil for forcing indoors. These DO NOT! My recipients received this bare bulb in the mail. No note from me (which I did ask to be included). Nothing but a bare bulb. As I said, this is not the seller's fault. I was doing it in a hurry and didn't read the information carefully enough. But I do think that given the fact that these are so often mailed WITH pots and soil as gifts, it would be nice of the seller to say up front: BULB ONLY. NO POT, NO SOIL. Now I have to go to Walmart and buy four of the potted ones, take out the bulbs (I'll plant them in my own garden) and mail the pots and soil to my recipients with an explanation/apology. What a pain.
