I enjoyed the quotes of players and their stories of the New York baseball community.
Most common quote - "I wish I had enjoyed it more when I was there." Thanks for the great book.
Bill Wakefield (or as Yogi and Casey called me -- Dick Wakefield.)
When I originally saw this, I thought I wouldn't able to get through it, but being a Mets fan, the subject fascinated me, so I gave it a shot.
I had to read at a slower pace than I usually do, but in the end, it was well worth the patience and effort.
