Product Description

Amazin' Raisin Strawberry Flavored Raisins are made from sun dried seedless grapes. The Raisins are cap stemmed, double washed, laser scanned HACCP approved, and metal detected and certified Kosher. The Raisins are prepared utilizing a special patented flavoring process that includes washing the Raisins in citric acid and then infusing the all natural fruit flavor through a special heating and cooling process. This special process takes place in our BRC certified plant under the highest standards of hygiene and manufacturing practice. It is available in many delicious fruit flavors including; orange, lemon, strawberry, peach, pineapple, blueberry, cherry and now cinnamon.

While I appreciate the concept greatly, the execution needs work; this is the only flavor I've had, and they remind me wildly of cough syrup every time I use them. Granted, I AM an adult, and no longer have childish taste buds, but I wanted essence of strawberry, not essence of vicks in these. They're juicy and beautiful as far as raisins go, and if I soak them first to remove the excess off-flavors, they're good in oatmeal. I wouldn't buy then again, however. Too much effort to make them edible.

After purchasing a case of these the only one in the family who will eat them is the pet rabbit. They have a very strong strawberry flavor. It is not terribly unpleasant just doesn't seem like a natural strawberry flavor or maybe because it is very strong. On the plus side, the first few that you eat are OK. They are nice, moist large raisins. My family couldn't get over the overwhelming flavor though. Our pet bunny adores them though! So it definitely was not a total waste. She begs for them.

Kids thought they were okay, but were not very interested in eating them often. They are sweeter than my husband and I thought. Probably would not purchase them again.
