5.0 out of 5 stars As It Says.... AMAZING!!, April 2, 2005
A Kid's Review
At first, even despite the beautiful artwork, I rolled my eyes. "Oh, great, another 'girly secret agent' manga." I thought. And, well, it kinda' is. But it's also more than that!

I found the characters cute and believable, the story one that you don't want to put down, and (as I mentioned before) the artwork gorgeous.

Yes, some of it is a tad silly and unrealistic--but what secret agent story usually isn't? Besides, all it's good qualities far outweigh the bad.

Sweet; a charming series, and a book you definatly want to add to your collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable spy manga, December 28, 2010

This review is from: Amazing Agent Luna Vol. 1 (Kindle Edition)
Luna is a girl who was born in a test tube lab by the united state's government and genetically engineered to be the perfect spy. She of course has not had a normal child hood and has to go to a high school to find out the plans of an evil dictator.

To be clear this is not a story to be taken seriously or be that deep. It's just a fun spy manga. For the kindle the text is kind of small but not to small. But I couldn't read some of the text in the extras. Overall I enjoyed it but it's certainly not for everyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Manga Nancy Drew...but Awesomer!, February 8, 2010
A Kid's Review
I bent down in the public library scanning the 'manga' shelf. It was full of the violent, angry manga, but then 'Amazing Agent Luna' caught my eye. I pulled it off the shelf, and the beautiful artwork immediately interested me. I read the back cover, and I felt less confident. A girly teenager that is miraculously a secret agent? Cliche` and unbelievable, two bad book traits (at least for me).

Still, the artwork pulled me in, so I opened it. The story was entirely different than I had expected. It was full of adventure, but the characters were still relatable to. And it even explained how a fifteen year old girl could be a fantastically-trained secret agent, which no other 'girl secret agent' book I've read has.

Luna is a girl created from top quality genetic material in a lab. But, because she was created from human material, she will act as a human does. Which means that that hormonal, confusing time called adolescence will affect her just like all other teenagers. She can't control her emotions and is having struggles keeping up with her hectic secret agent life.

And if that weren't enough, she goes under cover as a highschool student while tracking down her nemesis, Count Von Brucken. Being thrown into highschool is not easy for Luna. People are rude and cruel to her and she just doesn't understand why. She manages to make a couple friends (literally a couple--two!), and a possible boyfriend? The only problem is, that 'possible boyfriend' of hers, he's the Count's son.

With amazing illustrations, a fantastic plot, and great characters, the pages won't stop turning until you've finished.
