One of my favorite games for the Fire! I hold it up with Cut the Rope, Fragger, and Where's my Water. Great for problem solving minds and just challenging enough to keep your interest.

excellent game... i would definitely recommend it if you're a fan of both physics-based games and thinking/puzzle games. if you did well with angry birds and where's my water and cut the rope, this is what you should buy next. it's a bit too challenging for younger kids, especially once you're past the first few levels, but it's great for older kids and adults-- really makes you think and makes you want to try again and again to get those three stars on each level... but it's not so tough that you'll wanna throw up your hands and smash your phone/tablet. i'm not sure how great it'd be on smartphones, as some of the levels require extremely precise placement of objects, but i've got it on the kindle fire and it's great. the only qualm i have is that there are not enough levels (yet)... i bought it the day it was released and play it only occasionally (maybe a few mins a day), and i conquered it about two weeks ago (all stars received). fortunately you can design your own levels, and you can download levels other people have designed, so that should give the game some more life... plus it's still pretty new, so i'm sure rovio will be updating with more levels at some point. i DEFINITELY recommend this game. =)

I used to love The Incredible Machine as a kid, and this game has captured some of that original spirit. The levels are fun, but the music irritates me just a bit, hence the star off. Yes, it's $2.99. And yes, it's "High Definition", as gimmicky as it sounds. Lower power devices need smaller, less detailed graphics to get the same framerate that your kindle achieves. The physics engine would need improvements to ensure that everything rolls and flies naturally. Game development isn't easy, and well done physics engines are particularly challenging. Go grab a copy of Eclipse, a Java book, and the Android SDK. It costs money to get from a blank document to this game. Rovio isn't going to drop every game for 99 cents, they need to stay profitable.
