THIS WAS A GREAT BUY. My daughter has really enjoyed this coloring book. It is refreshing to finally be able to see her coloring realistic animals. This book contains many many pictures of very real animals. I think it is important to give kids a look at reality while they play. Realistic and educational.

This book is great for the information it gives you on the animals. As a coloring book it's a bit hard for smaller kids, but still ok.

Normally I am a big fan of Dover Coloring books. Lots of fun when your bored and don't feel like watching more TV or surfing the net. But this book was well blah. There are a lot of beautiful colorful animals in the world but they are NOT in this book. Lots of grey green and browns though.

A lot of the pictures also have an unfinished feel to them as well, sort of like even that artist got bored with the subject and wondered off.
Was really looking forward to coloring the Peahens shown on the cover but sadly the actual drawing inside is sloppy and not at all as nice as the cover leads you to think. In fact I have not even bothered trying to color it as I find it disappointing and discouraging every time I turn to that page.

There were a few pictures that were fun though. The butterflies, chameleon and hummingbirds to be exact.

Would be ok for the 9-13 range but not really for adults that enjoy coloring as a way to relax.

Fantastic. These books are the best I have found to find pictures to use as templets or stencils for designs to paint on silk.
