The whole point is for it to look like a battery, but seriously.... who is going to just be carrying batteries around with them? Yes, it says DURA-BELL on it. Big deal. There are all kinds of crummy generic batteries out there. Who cares what the name is?? If you want it to look more discrete then store it in a flashlight, or.... keep another real battery in there with it. I use it to store my jewelry when im at the gym, or public pool. One day someone had broken into the lockers at my gym and stole a lot of peoples things. The cops went through everyones bag before they could leave. My jewelry was safe. The cop didnt even look twice at my battery, which I assume is the benefit most who buy this product what to assume. Its a good buy. Just use your brain.

First of all, this looks about as much like a "D" cell battery as a Big Mac does. A blind man could see it was a fake--no pains at all taken with duplicating a real battery. Secondly, the picture shows cash in it, right? Well I don't know what they use for money, but a United States bill won't fit in this thing unless you fold it about 8 times and use a steam iron to flatten it out. And finally, their shipping charge was almost as much as the thing costs and it took forever to arrive. Don't waste your money.
UPDATE: After sitting untouched on my desk for an hour, the label on this "battery" just fell off. Now I'll have to glue it back on. Oh, and I was wrong about the shipping charge - it was actually $0.95 MORE than the price of the thing. On the upside, since I know now that the label is just cheap paper glued to the cylinder, I can scan a real battery and use that as the label.

i live overseas and have many "hiding" places in "fake products". all the ones i have purchased are so realistic i fear losing track of them. this one is my first disappointment. it has a VERY unconvincing look. i think it would stand out as an oddball in my battery rack. however, in all fairness, most thieves are not checking out my battery rack. still likely to be "hidden" due to it's not being looked for. however, i prefer that my concealment be as realistic as possible

I asked a co-worker had he ever heard of this brand of battery, he looked at it for a sec and was like "no, that's just a generic cheapy". totally fooled! I stuffed this in my battery box at home - it blends right in. Excellent small container.

My car was robbed and I had something very valuable inside the battery. The thieves completely overlooked it when they stole about everything else.

The quality is decent I guess, but the containers themselves aren't as convincing as real batteries as I had hoped. Instead of receiving the ones in the picture, you receive some that are mostly black that resemble a Duracell. The major difference between these is the "cap" that screws off revealing the inside is black just like the rest of the battery, rather than white in the picture. Since the two are the same color it makes the break between them very obvious.

Overall, they're decent, but don't expect them to look very convincing, the line is noticeable if someone is observant. I would have preferred the ones in the image, it would be nice for this to be changed.

Not as convincing as other stashes but still pretty cool. Throw them in a draw and you would never know unless you looked closely or tried to us them

Obviously, the label doesn't look like a convincing 'real' battery label. But I realized that when I bought it. I just figured, if I can mix it in with some other old generic batteries, the fake-looking label might go un-noticed. The real complaint I have, is the fact that this thing is light as a feather. D-Batteries are heavy, so you'd better put something heavy inside it, along with your valuables. Otherwise, anyone who holds it knows instantly that it's not a battery.
