Picture perfect!
You don't have to be a fan of the Mets, (like me), to enjoy this review of the New York Mets 2006 season that took them to the verge of the World Series. Just enjoy the wonderful baseball photography, the action pictures are excellent. 2006 Seems so Far Away
2006. The year the Mets ran away with the National League East. Things haven't been so great since then. Anyways, this book is filled with stories and photography about games, key events, and even some behind the scenes information. You don't have to be a fan of the Mets, (like me), to enjoy this review of the New York Mets 2006 season that took them to the verge of the World Series. Just enjoy the wonderful baseball photography, the action pictures are excellent. This soft back book just goes to show you, you don't need to buy an expensive hardback to enjoy reading about your team and perusing the wonderful pictures throughout. A great purchase and I'm not even a Mets fan!!!!

2006. The year the Mets ran away with the National League East. Things haven't been so great since then. Anyways, this book is filled with stories and photography about games, key events, and even some behind the scenes information. I follow the team very closely, so the information within is not new at all. I regularly read Mets articles on the New York Post, The New York Times, Newsday.com, the New York Daily News, etc. so the information isn't as important as the memories. I suppose time has made this book more valuable since the past two season haven't been especially kind to my beloved Mets. But not this year. This is the year we take it back.
