I have had this opener for years. It is not the easiest for me to work but I have a system. After I get the fish screwed into the cork I put the bottle on the floor between my feet. I push down with my left hand around the lower neck of the bottle. My feet hold the bottle stable and I pull the fish up. For even the new plastic corks, this works every time and now that I have the technique perfected, it's a piece of cake, or rather, fish. I love this thing.

I won my Amazing Fish corkscrew at a Wine tasting in Australia over 15 years ago.

It has served me well in two cities, two states, two countries, two Continents and two hemispheres and provided entertainment to guests in all of the above!

Unfortunately, the screw broke after much Christmas action, but I have ordered a replacement as the regular corkscrews aren't up to ease of using the Amazing Fish!

This corkscrew wine bottle opener is just yet another excuse to drink more wine :D It is very easy to use and works each and every time. It was a bit bigger than what I had anticipated, but no biggie.

Overall, I think it is a great looking corkscrew opener that gets the job done.
