In what ways would your life change if you could have the kinds of friendships that you really want? In his book Amazing Friendships, Paul Barrass shows the way to have friends by choice, not chance. He gives us tips and tools to build a life-enhancing community of supportive friends, and reveals how to recognize and be rid of false friends that drain us. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Amazing Friendships: How to Make and Keep Good Friends the Friendcraft Way! (Paperback)
I bought this book thinking it would give concrete advice on how to create and maintain lasting friendships. I was really disappointed. It seemed to repeat a lot of common sense advice. There was no real strategy on how and where to meet new friends and methods to foster deep and meaningful friendships. I am pretty outgoing and don't seem to have any problems meeting people and conversing. My problem comes in when trying to cultivate relationships beyond casual friendships and with people that I have a great deal in common with. This book did not give me the information I was hoping it would. At the end of the book I was confused as to what The "FriendCraft" way was all about???

The only positive reviews on this book are by those who have a financial interest in it. The only unbiased review is less than positive. This tells me this is a book to be avoided.
