About the Author

After graduating with distinction from Garrett Theological Seminary, Dr. E. Carver McGriff pastored a congregation on the northeast side of Indianapolis for twenty-six years that grew to be the largest in the state. McGriff is considered one of America's premier preachers, and his sermons have been distributed nationwide by the United Methodist Church.
