First let me say I absolutely love this album in it's entirety! I bought this album because I am a big time fan of country music. And of strong faith. The Country and Gospel paths are very closely interwoven I believe, so this album was a must have. Besides Keith Urban's I'll Fly Away is better than any other versions I've ever heard. And I have a lot of Gospel/Christian albums as well. Keith has such a terrifc voice(his vocals really bring it home), it touches my heart and soul! (Thank you Keith!) I love the variety of songs on here. Something for everyone. Each country artist brings their own unique talents creating a new spin on these old songs. "I'll Fly Away", "Softly and Tenderly", It Is No Secret", "Leaning on His Everlasting Arms", Nothing But The Blood", and Victory In Jesus are my favorites. However, each and every song is well done. This is a very uplifting album. Be sure and buy more than one, this is one you'll definately want to share with your family and friends.

Keith Urban's simple & natural singing of I'LL Fly Away Is wonderful.
This was recorded live in a studio with all the other talented musician circled around to give it the warm feel it has.

This is the first gospel album I have bought, and I am not going to break it down song by song, All I can say is that I get uplifted after listening to each song, as they are singing praise to the lord - I catch myself singing along praising his name as well. I could care less if they were all on key or off, performed it exactly like I hear it in church and make it there own. The music is all beautiful and uplifting. Thank you Sparrow Records

Taking a look back at America's heritage is just what this new collection does as 12 of today's biggest Country and Christian music stars record their favorite hymns. These traditional hymns have great acoustic twists and contemporary beats. Especially check out I'll Fly Away" and "Nothing But The Blood" that speak of a deep-rooted faith and hope. Amazing Grace 3 is `amazingly' awesome!!

This album is not what I consider gospel music at all. Rather, it is many of my favorite old hymns sung country style, just the way I like it. I love this album and could listen to it for years.

I'm not really a huge Country or Christian music fan but this record sold me...unbelievable toe-tapping sounds that got me humming along. This has got a vibe like nothing I've heard before. A must buy for anyone who even slightly likes Country or Christian music.

Sara Evans, Kieth Urban and Buddy Jewell are my favorite tracks!

Now here is a great collection of traditional hymns of praise & worship that you'd expect to be fabulous listening given the great voices offered on this cd. The problem lies in the really crappy arrangements. Here you will get to listen to LEANING ON THE EVERLASTING ARMS, arranged to sound like something you'd hear at a cocktail lounge! Songs whose tempo should be somewhat upbeat like, NOTHING BUT THE BLOOD, is slowed down to a really boring cadence that becomes just plain irritating. There are much, much better versions of all these sacred songs to be found on other recordings. The only one worth listening to is the last track: HE TOUCHED ME, by The Isaacs, and they couldn't mess up any song even if they tried. Save your money & skip this one.

My roommate had this cd once before and mentioned how much she loved it. So, I decided to search for it and give it to her for Christmas this year. Price was good. And it arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I am satisfied.

This disk is a great addition to the A.G. series. It compliments the previous two very well. The production, song/artist pairing, and recording are all very good. This is true "feel good music." I'll be waiting for A.G.4 as I enjoy 1,2, and now 3.

This is a really good cd if you need some inspiration. Wonderful mix of artists doing some old favorites as well as songs I've never heard before. If you can't get to church some Sunday, just pop this into your music player and you will get revived. Works for other days of the week too! Highly recommend this album.
