Barely four stars - boring arrangements
The songs on this CD are great and this one is better than the PRAISE THE LORD/SONGS OF FAITH CD by the 101 strings. But....if I compare this to the GREATEST HITS of the 101 strings, this CD pales. The musicianship and singing is flawless on this CD but the arrangements are boring at times..... This CD is OK when you want nice Christian music in the background.

Not What I Thought
Diappointed in music arrangements. Mainly bought the CD for the song "Amazing Grace" to use as background music for a vocal singer who was singing at a funeral; but the music was impossible to even figure out where to start & stop each verse.

I first look for 101 Strings Orchestra when purchasing CD's. I have been collecting this artist for years. I know that I can always find the ones I am interested in at Amazon and know that I will receive them soon. Some are new and some are from other dealers but I always buy thru Amazon.

I am never disappointed with a 101 Strings recorcing. "Amazing Grace Songs of Faith and Inspiration is no exception. E. L. Jefe's arrangements on this CD are brillant. The rich qualities of the strings are featured in the title song Amazing Grace,Rock of Ages,Keeping Faith, Enduring Light, and "Now the Day is Over." My favorites include: How Great Thou Art, The Hallelujah Chorus, and I Believe.
These same full sounds accompany the vocal numbers on the other four songs including: The Old Rugged Cross,The Lord's Prayer, and Onward Christian Soldiers.
