An excellent quality recording with accompaniment by organ or piano only. The choir is clearly understood as are the few solos. This is simple Christian church music without a trace of entertainment or commercialism. Such music allows one to worship and hear the message without the artist or music becoming what is important. I think the Londonderry Choir comes close to Dietrich Bonhoeffer's admonition of "unison singing from the heart 'with one mind and one mouth glorify God.'"

These hymms display the essence of true biblical singing....nothing entertaining or fancy, just one's soul singing to God. All are well recorded and arranged. No drums or electric guitars here. I strongly recommend to any who are concerned about today's CCM and prefer the Old hymms of the faith.

This is an outstanding CD with the tradional Biblical based hymns. It is obviously unlike the sensual, fleshy oriented music posing as Christian. It is refreshing to hear praise to the Lord as it should be - humbly and selfless. There is no "self" exaultation here but proper exaultation of our Lord.
