This is a really nice song by Boy George. It has hit written all over it. I can not stop playing this song over and over. When I play it to someone who never heard it before they always say was that Boy George?

this song is so positive, yes we all stumble, and you can
pick yourself up and dust yourself off and move forward.
sometimes it's just nice to have that message to a beat
that you can play and remind yourself of that. I receive
this songs message, and play this while I pray till
something happens. Thank you George for writing
and recording this song.

This is George's big return to the music scene. It is a pleasant nice song, but quite generic in its arrangement. I don't see the genius and originality that I have in some of his earlier work. It's a very standard house track. It has some nice lyrics but then he repeats "You Need Amazing Grace" too many times at the end. It seems like it needs another verse.
His voice sounds somewhat better than it has in recent years, but it's more deeper and raspier than it was in the 80's and 90's. It seems the Portuguese singer and the gospel choir are being used to cover up George's own voice and inability to hit the high notes.
I think the acoustic version is the weakest. It shows there's really not much to the song. It very simple with no chord changes or bridge to hold your interest.
But I'm sure this will be a hit on the club scene, but as far as being a big comeback for him, I don't see it.
I guess George has been so busy with djing and fashion he doesn't put too much effort into the actual music but thinks his fans will buy it anyway. I guess he's right!
