This book has a lot of details that must have taken forever to find! I found the pictures hysterical. I never knew!

As an avid horse enthusiast, I am fascinated with the accuracy and unique facts in Gary Mullen's book. Also the colorful presentation of the material makes for very easy reading. I am honored that information about Molly the Pony: A True Story was included in the book. I highly recommend Mr. Mullen's book to anyone interested in horses.

From famous television horsenalities to calculating how tall your foal will grow, from the oldest, or largest known horse, to the smallest horse, from unicorns to mythical horses, this book is a wonderful addition to any home library, or business lobby.
Full of beautiful pictures on horse breeds, saddles & tack, feeding, horses in history, and much, much more. You do not have to be a horse lover to enjoy this book.

I got this book at the Smithsonian in DC this weekend. My 4.5 year old hasn't put it down. She looks at the picutres, they are high quality and the layout and facts/text are fantastic. Thank you Gary Mullen, I wish you had more books on other animals as well!!!

I've ordered several books to use as awards for my 4H horse group and for my students. Excellent source for quick facts.

This is a small book (not 8 1/2 x 11)-that is my only complaint. It is jam packed full of misc horse trivia. I would buy again. If this book was full sized I would have rated it 5 stars.
