run run away says it all for me and not in a bad way because i sure dont want to run away i want to hear it again and again this song is the reason i love music, quiet riots version of cum on feel the noize hooked me into rock music but i have stayed because of run run away. the video did it for me back in 1984 on friday night videos, i taped the show for ratt round and round and twisted sister were not gonna take it but slades run run away was the reason i wore out the tape, and then 15 years later i got reaquainted with the boyz by buying til deaf do us part only to lead me to keep your hands off my power supply and finally the amazing kamakazie syndrome which are two of the same with a few differnt songs and song order depending which side of the pond your release is from. anyhow the best songs here are run run away my oh my cocky rock boys ready to explode and in the doghouse great fun dont miss it

TRYING SO HARD,
By Poverty "Tungan" (Puta Que O Pariu) - See all my reviews

SLADE tried desperately do adequate themselves ( whatever that means !! ) into the eighties. The resultwas this uneven album, who shares equally high and lows ( inluding drums machines !). Hoever the hit songs MY OH MY and RUN RUNAWAY, the best song is by far Sladés attempt to write an epic, "READY TO EXPLODE". THe weakest part is clearly Don Powell's drums. He is in a lacklustre performance here.

SLADE is already downhil in this album, recorded in 1983. The hit "MY OH MY" is a shame, so cheesy it is. They tried to write an anthem. Anyway, Holder, Lea, Hill and Powell still can deliver some good old rockin, and the CD is not totally bad.
